SO-52v21-AUT

The SO-52v21-AUT controller is designed to support in-door and over-head MV disconnectors. It integrates functions of measurements, controls, telemetry, fault indication, sectionalizer and multi-channel disturbance recorder. There are two hardware and functional configurations of the controller.

Configuration 1 – with „mAI-32-31”modules enabling one controller to realize up to three fault signalizers or sectionalizers and support over a dozen MV connectors

  • mCU-02-05 (central unit with a 3G modem)
  • mPS-11-91 (24V DC power supply module)
  • mBM-48-21 (16 binary inputs and 6 binary outputs module)
  • mAI-32-31 (analog input module, 1 voltage input, 4 current inputs)

Configuration 2 – with the „mCA-01-01” module enabling one controller to realize one fault signalizer or sectionalizer and support over a dozen MV connectors

  • mCA-01-01 (central unit with a 3G modem and analog inputs – 3 voltage inputs, 4 current inputs)
  • mPS-11-91 (24V DC power supply module)

SO-54SR-101-REK

The SO-54SR-101-REK recloser controller is designed for complex support of the RC 27 or GVR overhead automatic circuit-breaker. It realizes measurement, protection, control, telemetry, automation and recording functions. The controller has a dedicated panel casing and is installed in a control unit designed for the RC 27 circuit-breaker. The entire control unit comprises:

  • SO-54SR-101-REK (recloser controller with protection functions)
  • IPR-002 (measurement interface)
  • MSG-610 or MSG-411 (GPRS-APN communication module)
  • 24V DC accumulator with a power supply and charging unit
  • local control buttons
  • LED indication of a current state of a circuit
  • cam switches (operation mode selection, enabling-disabling AR, work on line)
  • installation circuit-breaker
  • fuses
  • clamp terminals
  • heater with temperature control

The SO-54SR-101-REK recloser controllers is equipped with a dispatcher’s panel consisting a graphic terminal with a touch screen (LCD), a module with 8 signaling LEDs and an ON/OFF button. Additionally, the panel may be equipped with a key switch for local and remote operation mode.

The communication with the controller may be performed both by means of the dispatcher’s panel and a dedicated computer program used to configure protection functions, preview settings and states of inputs and outputs and read measurements. The communication may be realized locally or remotely thanks to the dedicated software.

The SO-54SR-101-REK recloser controller has also software interlocks which eliminate the possibility of remote or local controlling in the case of a collision in issued commands, ensuring safety of operation in this way.

The internal event log stored in the controller memory enables to define in the off-line mode outage causes and controller reactions and cooperating remaining external devices with 1ms precision. The multi-channel disturbance recorded (being a part of the software) enables to analyze emergency states and their causes, what increases operational reliability of an entire system. [-]

SO-54SR-101-AUT

The SO-54SR-101-AUT controller with the simplified automation function is designed to support overhead THO-type disconnectors. It integrates functions of: measurements, controls, simplified automation, telemetry and multi-channel disturbance recorder. The controller is manufactured in a dedicated panel casing and is installed in a telemetry cubicle. The control unit comprises:

  • SO-54SR-101-AUT (controller with simplified automation functions)
  • IPR-004 (measurement interface)
  • MSG-610 (3G communication module)
  • 24V DC accumulator with a power supply and charging unit
  • local control buttons
  • disconnector state signalization in the form of LEDs on the dispatcher’s panel
  • rotary cam switches (operation mode selection)
  • installation circuit-breakers
  • fuses
  • terminal clamps
  • heater with a temperature controller

SO-54SR-111-REK

The SO-54SR-111-REK has protections, measurement, control, telemetry, automation functions and may operate as a multi-channel event recorder and is used to support the THO-RC27 automatic overhead recloser circuit-breaker. The controller is built in the SRC-1 control unit, dedicated to the THO-RS27 circuit-breaker. The SO-54SR-111-REK is equipped with a dedicated panel casing. It has a dispatcher’s panel consisting of a graphic terminal with the LCD touch screen, module with 8 LEDs to which any binary signal from the controller database may be assigned, control LEDs – "Operation" and "Error" and ON/OFF buttons.

The SO-54SR-111-REK controller is also equipped with the following communication ports:

  • RS-232 interface
  • RS-485 interface
  • serial channel with multi-mode fiber-optic 650µm or 820µm
  • Ethernet 10/100Base-TX

The controller is equipped with a multi-channel disturbance recorder which enables to record oscillograms of analog values, measured and calculated, binary states representing inputs and outputs as well as internal states of the controller itself. The controller disturbance recorder may be triggered by an event, operation or signalization of each protection component and switching on a circuit-breaker.

The controller has the following resources:

  • 3 analog inputs to measure currents from Rogowski’s coils
  • 6 analog inputs to measure voltages
  • 16 binary inputs - 24V DC
  • 4 control outputs - 8A/24V DC, 0.25A/220V DC

The device is configured using a dedicated program, pConfig. Apart from the configuration, the software enables to preview operation state, binary and measurement databases, read the event log and disturbance recorder. [-]

SO-54SR-141 - Bay controller with protection functions

The SO-54SR-141 bay control unit with protection functions for an indoor circuit-breaker is designed to:

  • limit disturbances in MV networks caused by multi-phase short-circuits and earth faults
  • control circuit-breakers in the remote and local modes
  • realize telemetry functions
  • concentrate signals from objects
  • cooperate with telemetry, telesignalization and telecontrol systems

SO-54SR-301 - Telemetry controllers with protection functions

The SO-54SR-301 controller realizes required telemetry and protection functions for a short-circuit flow signalizer and analyzer in the range of reading binary inputs, current measurements, phase voltages and detection of faults in MV lines. States of all inputs, values of measurements and signalization of faults are sent in the event mode or may be read cyclically by a SCADA system.

SO-54SR-321 - Telemetry controllers with protection functions

The SO-54SR-321 controller realizes required telemetry and protection functions for a short-circuit flow signalizer and analyzer in the range of reading binary inputs, current measurements, phase voltages and detection of faults in MV lines. States of all inputs, values of measurements and signalization of faults are sent in the event mode or may be read cyclically by a SCADA system.

USP-120-3 - Object controller for Smart Grid

The USP-120-3 controller object is used to perform telemetry functions in the Smart Grid technology. Its main task is to collect states and perform controls in objects and devices operating in depth of a power network. The controller may be also installed in cubicles for MV overhead disconnector drives, being a component of a distributed telemetry and telesignalization systems.

The USP-120-3 is designed for installation on a 35 mm DIN rail. All interfaces are available on the front of the controller casing. The main component of the USP-120-3 controller is a highly efficient central unit comprising a dual core processor. All information connected with the operation of the controller, transmission state and diagnostics are stored in the event log. The USP-120-3 is equipped with the following communication resources:

  • 1x Ethernet TP10/100 connection
  • 2x RS-232 interface
  • 2x RS-485 interface
  • 1x channel of 1-Wire interface
  • 1x service RS-232 interface (used for diagnostic purposes) [-]

USP-130-1 - Telemetry controller for Smart Grid

The USP-130-1 object control unit is designed to perform telemetry functions.

The device manages protocol conversion, collects states about objects and realizes controls. It also supports any local device equipped with the RS-485 interface. The controller may operate in local and distributed networks, either Ethernet or GSM.

The device supports transmission in the following protocols: PN-EN 60870-5-101, PN-EN 60870-5-104, DNP 3.0 and is able to operate as their converter. It is also possible to implement other protocols if needed. The controller comprises a built-in modem. It is possible to establish connections within networks operating in GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA technologies.

The SIM card socket is available from the front of the device. It is equipped with a two-port switch and the ETH1 and ETH2 sockets are also passed to the front panel.

The controller is equipped with:

  • 8x binary input
  • 2x 24V output
  • 2x Ethernet connector
  • 2x RS-485 interface
  • 1x service RS-232 interface (used for diagnostic purposes)

USP-131-1 - Telemetry controller for Smart Grid

The USP-131-1 object control unit is designed to perform telemetry functions.

USP-140 - Telemetry controller for Smart Grid

The USP-140 telemetry controller is used to perform telemetry functions, emerging from the needs of the Smart Grid technology, comprising collecting states and realization of controls in object and devices operating within a power grid. In particular, the controller may operate as an element of distributed units of telesignalization and telecontrol, installed in MV overhead disconnector drive cubicles.

The USP-140 controller has the following transmission channels:

  • Ethernet (2 connections) in the 10/100 Base-TX standard for communication with a superior system and configuration
  • RS-232 (1 channel)
  • RS-485 (1 channel)
  • 1-Wire (1 channel)
  • RS-232 for service purposes

The controller is equipped with its own, internal modem, performing transmission in the GSM/GPRS/EDGE, UMTS/HSPA+ and LTE technologies. The modem supports two SIM cards, what makes it possible to perform telecontrol and supervision functions in networks of two different providers.

For telemetry and state collecting needs, the controller has 15 binary inputs and 4 binary outputs to perform controls. The binary inputs may collect signals about a disconnector state, protections operation signalization, opening cubicle doors and many others. The binary outputs may realize controls of connector drive relay, control interlock disengage and other operations requiring switching execution parts.

The USP-140 device is manufactured in a metal casing which may be installed on a DIN 35 mm rail. [-]
