After TenneT GmbH and Stromnetz Hamburg GmbH the time has come for another "conquest" of German network operators. In late 2022 we started cooperation with 50Hertz Transmission GmbH, as a part of the successful tender for the Emergency Reserve System (Germ. redundantes Meldesystem, RMS).
50Hertz is one of four German transmission system operators. The company owns more than 10,000 km of power lines and is responsible for the 380 kV and 220 kV power systems, covering an area of about 30% of the country, in northeastern Germany. As a reliable transmission system operator in the heart of Europe, 50Hertz ensures the safe integration of renewable energies, the development of the European electricity market and the maintenance of a high standard of security of supply.
The framework agreement is for four years. Under it, we are to supply 50Hertz with several hundred integrated signal acquisition (BAS) and visualization (PCS) units for substation and bay level SO-52PCS and SO-55KD data concentrators. We are now after the delivery of hardware and software for the pilot substation. Full of enthusiasm, we are ready for the next stages of cooperation.
