Realization of automation functions in MV networks

The concept of intelligent networks assumes the introduction of remote control and monitoring to selected points in the depth of the MV network and the automation of processes carried out so far by the dispatcher and the electricity emergency service.

The SO-55 controller is a modular communication and control device (concentrator) that is part of the SO-5 station equipment manufactured by Mikronika. The construction concept of SO-55 is based on the idea of reading data from external devices (using the protocol specific to this device), standardizing them, placing data in the database and then making these data available to other physical devices communicating with SO-55 or virtual devices being modules program in the concentrator.
