Last week we managed to complete the contract for modernization of the NRB RE system in PKN Orlen, which has been the biggest in the history of Mikronika.
The NRB RE system controls the power supplying system in the greatest Polish oil refinery in Płock.
On 19 May 2022 the Final Technical Commissioning Committee accepted all works, confirming that they had been realized reliably, correctly and on time within the entire project. The complete and ready-to-use system has been put into operation.
The modernization of this system, which is like a nervous system for the power supplying system in Płock, was not easy, it required much care and experience.
During last three years we have designed and modernized the control system for ca. 160 power substations, installed dozens of kilometers of fiber-optic cables in a difficult terrain with dense infrastructure and numerous threats, replaced the SCADA system with our SYNDIS RV and built the dispatch center from the scratch, with a modern video wall.
Finally, let me add that basing on the gained experience and references we are already realizing next contracts on development of the power system for PKN Orlen.
