Graphic terminals

Graphic terminals are designed for monitoring and visualization of data that occur in automation and control processes. They can appear as several inch displays with an integrated touch panel, as well as multi-monitor LCD panels, used in dispatch centers at various levels.

KWG-002 (operator terminal)

Not recommended for apply in new solution

The KWG-002 terminal is intended as an operator terminal for supervision and local visualization of processes taking place in automation systems and for controlling measuring and executive devices. The terminal consists of a large graphic display with an integrated touch panel and LED signaling panel. The control is carried out by a "touch screen" type keyboard, located directly above the graphic display screen on which the data is displayed. The whole is made in a compact panel housing.

The terminal is operated via the RS-232 or RS-485 interface. Transmission systems are galvanically separated from the rest of the system, which protects them against possible damage in the event of overvoltage or other disturbances occurring on communication links.

KWG-002 terminal can be used e.g. with the SCB-001 controller. An example of such an application is presented below.   []

KWG-1xx (operator terminal)

Not recommended for apply in new solution

replaced by KWG-3xx

The KWG-1xx operator terminal consists of a large graphic display with an integrated touch panel and a LED signaling panel. The terminal can be installed remotely or locally, being an integral part of a given device. It is equipped with a serial RS-485 communication link or an LVDS bus. The RS-485 link is intended for remote connection of the terminal with a controller or other device. On the other hand, communication with the terminal is realized via the LVDS link in the case when it is an integral part of another, larger set.

The front panel is available in several variants. It can have a different number of additional buttons, different arrangement of them, they can also be divided into functional groups (control, alarm clearing, etc.)

The LED signaling panel is part of the graphic terminal. It is designed to visualize important states in the field, such as alarms, signaling or operating errors. The occurrence of a predefined event causes the corresponding LED to light up. As a standard, the panel includes 16 diodes indicating the states in the field and 2 to 5 diodes of the device status.

In the SO-52v11 field controller, the LED signaling panel together with the touch screen form the operator terminal. The terminal is supported in the MODBUS protocol. Using the graphical user interface, you can edit the screens displayed on the terminal and the actions to be taken when you press a specific field on the touch screen.

Depending on the required use, the terminal is manufactured in various power supply variants.   []

KWG-3xx (operator terminal)

The KWG-3xx operator terminal consists of a large, color graphic display with an integrated touch panel and a LED signaling panel. All screens displayed on the terminal can be prepared by the user using the configuration tool. The operator terminal can work with various devices. KWG-3xx can be installed remotely or locally. When installed locally, the terminal is an integral part of a given device.

It is equipped with an RS-485 and LVDS serial link and an Ethernet link. RS-485 and Ethernet interfaces are used for remote connection of the terminal. On the other hand, the LVDS bus is used to communicate with the terminal when it is an integral part of another device.

The front panel of the terminal is available in several variants. Depending on the version, the panel may differ in the number and arrangement of additional buttons that are used to perform the necessary functions, such as control, alarm clearing, etc. Ethernet may also be available through various media (twisted pair, multimode or single-mode fiber).

KWG-3xx can be installed directly in the controller housing or in the dispatch room on the mimic board.

When the application requires it, the KWG-3xx touch screen terminal and one or more PCS-xxx central signaling panels can be connected to the SO-52v11 controller.   []

PWM-xxx (multi-monitor terminal)

The PWM-xxx multi-monitor panel is an innovative solution that is an alternative to projectors. It can be effectively used in all types of dispatching and supervision centers.

The PWM-xxx panel enables:

  • simultaneous and very practical presentation of the results of operation of several applications or several processes
  • overall view of large, high-resolution images
  • getting things done more efficiently and working more efficiently than on a single monitor
  • minimizing the number of errors

The user himself decides about the layout of the windows and the division of the working area of the screen, freely stretching and rearranging the application windows. These properties are especially important for the dispatcher's work, which requires quick decision-making based on information from various sources.

The standard panel can consist of a maximum of 12 LCD screens with a size from 15 '' to 50 '' cooperating with a computer (equipped with multi-monitor video cards and MS Windows operating system) or with a dedicated video wall controller. A properly configured PWM panel can cooperate with any operating system, e.g. from Microsoft, Apple, Sun, Linux. The functional design enables easy and ergonomic placement of the device.   []

TG-201 (graphic terminal)

The TG-201 device is a graphic touch terminal used to visualize the operation of the SO-52v11-S synchronizer. This device monitors the process of synchronous closing of circuit breakers in the bays of the power switchgear. The information displayed on the screen includes all the most important measurements and synchronizer signals that are necessary for checking single- and three-phase synchronism. The data is read via the RS-485 or Ethernet interface using the MODBUS protocol.

The device is designed to operate in harsh environmental conditions (high dustiness, moisture, electromagnetic interference).

The TG-201 terminal is equipped with several communication interfaces: RS-232, RS-485, USB and Ethernet. USB and Ethernet links are intended for configuration.   []

TO-1S (operator terminal)

The TO-1S operator terminal with accessories is a solution dedicated to the Argus RV surveillance system, intended for applications requiring high reliability. The terminal enclosure includes a computer with a touch panel with high resistance to environmental conditions, guaranteed power supply in the event of a 230V AC power failure, a managed switch with a redundant fiber optic Ethernet connection and power supply accessories. Everything is placed in the SWN cabinet by ZPAS.

The TO-1S operator terminal is the hardware platform of the ARGUS RV system and has been tested by CNBOP-PIB. Certificate of Conformity No. 3328/2018 (attached below) was issued, confirming compliance with the technical specifications and the possibility of using it in the construction industry in the field of monitoring and control of technical protection systems and facility safety management. The certificate is also available on the website of Telbud SA (//telbud.pl/About us/Licenses and certificates/)
