A few weeks ago, a tender was awarded for the development of a medium-voltage grid for one of our important clients in the south of the country, namely Zespół Elektrowni Wodnych Niedzica S.A. [Niedzica Water Power Plant], which works as a DSO in its area of operation.
ZEW Niedzica supplies electricity to approximately 150 external electricity consumers supplied from a low-voltage network. The entire distribution network today consists of more than 30 km of MV cable lines and 15 km of LV lines, as well as 20 transformer substations (where our telemetry devices are already in operation at 5 of them).
The next upgrade of the investment will consist of equipping 8 containerized MV/nN substations, which will be connected via a new 15kV cable to a newly built bay at the Frydman substation, where our telemetry equipment is already operating. At the same time, editing work will be carried out in the SYNDIS system.
MANSTEL, with whom we jointly carried out the modernization of this facility in 2021, was chosen as the General Contractor for this task, and we assess them as a very reliable partner. The realization of this task means that telemetry devices of our production will be installed on almost half of the facilities belonging to ZEW Niedzica. The entire task will be completed by the end of this year.
