Information security policy

MIKRONIKA, as a responsible manufacturer and supplier of industrial automation and software solutions, considers information security to be one of the key aspects of its business activities.

In order to deliver products and services of the highest quality, we ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information at every stage of the design, production, and implementation of equipment, provision of services as well as in all related processes.

The Management Board of MIKRONIKA, recognizing the importance of information security, hereby establishes the Information Security Management System at MIKRONIKA, together with this Information Security Policy.

The Information Security Management System, ensuring the security of information processed at MIKRONIKA, aims to guarantee that information protection practices comply with applicable laws and internal regulations.

The ISMS covers all MIKRONIKA organizational units that process information.

The objective of the Information Security Management System is to achieve an organizational and technical level that:

• guarantees full protection of the information being processed and ensures the continuity of its processing
• ensures that an appropriate level of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information is maintained, regardless of its form, in all information processing systems
• minimizes threats to information security
• ensures the correct and secure operation of all information processing systems
• ensures readiness to take action in emergency situations regarding the security of information held and entrusted to the company

These objectives are achieved through:

• defining roles and responsibilities for maintaining the ISMS
• users’ adherence to policies, guidelines, and procedures specifying how information is to be protected
• reviewing and updating policies, guidelines, and procedures
• raising users’ awareness of information security
• continuous improvement of the Information Security Management System

Raising user awareness of threats to information security plays a particularly important role in the Information Security Management System. The rules governing the organization and regular conduct of such trainings are set forth in the relevant Information Security Management System documents.   [-]
