The energy transition is not only about the development of renewable energy sources, energy storage systems, or the digitalization of power grids. It is also about taking responsibility for the security of critical infrastructure, with cybersecurity now serving as one of its fundamental pillars.
We were therefore delighted to participate in the 3rd Communication and Information Session for Renewable Energy Producers, organized by Enea Operator. This event, which brought together more than 250 representatives of the energy sector, was an important opportunity for MIKRONIKA to contribute to the discussion. For many years, we have been actively supporting the development of modern power systems by delivering innovative solutions that drive the digital transformation of the energy industry.
Our company was represented by Tomasz Szała, an expert in IT systems and cybersecurity, who delivered a presentation on protecting the renewable energy generation sector from cyber threats. During his presentation, he discussed real-world incidents affecting industrial automation and control systems, demonstrating how modern control systems can be effectively protected against today's evolving cyber threats. We are proud to have had the opportunity to share the practical knowledge and experience we have gained through the implementation of projects for the Polish power sector.
Today, we are in the midst of the energy transition. Looking ahead, effective energy management will increasingly require close cooperation and coordination among all stakeholders across the energy ecosystem. It will also need to take into account the unique characteristics, limitations, capabilities, and economic interests of each participant. Automation and control systems will play an increasingly important role in this process and will become one of its key foundations. Their security and reliability directly translate into the stability and resilience of the entire power system.
We would like to sincerely thank Enea Operator for the invitation, the excellent organization of the event, and for creating a platform for valuable discussions and the exchange of expertise. We firmly believe that initiatives like this strengthen partnerships and make a real contribution to building a safer, smarter, and more resilient energy sector.
